Josh and Gillian

Today I had a great time photographing Josh and Gillian. We had tons of fun at Brookside Gardens. Josh and Gillian are definitely made for each other. Josh is super funny and kept Gillian smiling. I can't wait till their wedding.

Here's my lovely assistant. I really enjoy Heidi helping with photos.

Mark II

This week I got the chance to work with a great photographer. Mark my new buddy came down from Minnesota to help photograph. Since Mark works part-time at the Mac store, I learned some cool tricks for my Mac.

I have to say Mark is a cool guy. He keeps his mind fresh with new ideas and sets some great goals.

Miss Cook-a-Lot

I love to come home after work. Heidi always makes the best meals. Tonight she cooked me up some steak that was good enough to be served in the finest restaurant. And I washed that steak down with a nice glass of Asian jelly juice :) yummy

Andrea & Adam

I had fun photographing last nights wedding. Andrea and Adam celebrated thier wedding at the beautiful Liriodendron Mansion. It rained just a little but people say it's good luck when it rains on your wedding day. Here are a few photos from last night.

And here are some of the people who made Andrea and Adam's wedding perfect. Music by Bruce from Platinum Mobile and Catering by Steve from Dean & Brown Catering.

Christy and Paul

This past Saturday, I photographed a beauty wedding in Baltimore, MD. The bride and groom were super sweet and had a wonderful reception in the bay area. The two lovebirds shared their first kiss on this day and you could tell that their love was true.

Coming Back

Getting back into the game is not always easy. I guess the longer I wait, the harder it gets. So today I return with my blogging.

Me Again

I'm still here. I just moved to DC to get a lead photography position. My life has been so busy, trying to keep up with my wedding photography, hiring and training new photographers. But I will do my best to write more, I hope :)

A Need Break

Sorry if I haven't been blogging for awhile. I have been so busy with work. I guess its time for a long break. Heidi and I will be gone for a week. We are heading to Arkansas to visit her family. So I will do my best to return phone calls and emails. Have a great holiday everyone.

'06 Halloween Parade

This year I got the chance to photograph in my hometown, Brownstown. Every year the Lions Club holds a halloween parade so I thought it would be a great idea to photograph all the kids in their cool costumes. I had a blast with all the families that showed up for this fun event. Here are a few photos from that night. Check 'em out.

I also want to thank my friend Cat and my two cousins; Sam and Nina. I would have not been able to run the show by myself. The only person that was missed from the crew was my lovely girlfriend Heidi. I love you girls for always being there for me.

Nights Sky

I always see those cool shots of the night sky in magazines. And of course, I always say "I can do that." Well after the wedding Saturday night, I stopped at a location that was really far away from the road, and distracting lights. I decided to get out of the car and try taking photos of the sky. One step away from the car, I heard some crazy noises coming from the woods. I hopped back in the car and locked the doors. Yep I know, I was kind of scared :) but I knew I did not want to leave until I got the shots. I opened the sunroof and photographed from there. Here are two of my favorite shots.

Free to have Fun

I get really excited when I get to work with brides and grooms who love my photography style. This past weekend I photographed an awesome wedding in Westminster, Maryland. The B+G felt so comfortable with me that they just had fun being themselves. The shots that I captured not only shows the love they have for each other, but demonstrates their fun personalities. Check out a few of my favorite shots.

Of course I can't forget to thank my new friends who made the day go really smooth for the bride and groom. Big props go to Abby Myers and Tammy Lundberg from NY NY Hair Salon and Day Spa. They did a great job with the bride's hair and make up. Big thanks to George from A Touch of Elegance. George patiently waited for me to take photos of the B+G without rushing me. Besides driving the crazy cool limo, he played a big role assisting me with the B+G. And last but not least, my friend Ed Smith from Party Zone Productions. Ed always keeps the party lively and makes my nights go really smooth. He plans the evening out so well that I don't ever have to worry about what will happend next. Thank you guys for making my day go really well.

Friday Night Lights

This past Friday, I got a chance to photograph a football game. I had a blast doing it even though I almost froze because it was so cold. While shooting, I met a great local sports photographer. Bill a photographer from the Harrisburg area, was shooting the game with his son Eric. It's always nice to have a companion photographer next to you to pass tips and tricks to make the photos look better. Here are some of my fun shots.
