Michael + Anna Costa

On Monday I attended a Pug Meeting in Philadelphia and the guest speakers were Michael + Anna Costa. I must say its nice to hear other photographers speaking about their accomplishments. It shows that everyone can get to that status just as long as we work hard and never give up. I also got a chance to meet other awesome photographers from the Philly area. I love networking, best way to become a better photographer.

Rus Gorman

When Chris told me he needed photos of Rus because he was giving him away, I was happy to help. He really loves his dog but it was hard to take care of Rus in a city environment. The session went great, Rus wasn't shy to have his photos taken. He really wanted to jump at the camera or was it me. My goal for the shoot was to capture Rus's presence, his strength and his cuteness.

Prefect Image

So my camera broke a few weekends ago and I was freaking out. Since it was Labor day weekend, I couldn't get it checked out until Tuesday. When I took it to West at Perfect Image, he told me he would have it ready the next day. Awesome! West is the best. You know what was wrong with my camera? over use:) So if you ever need your camera fix, send it to my friend West at Perfect Image in Lancaster, PA. Once it's fix he will over night it to you.

Shout outs

I just wanted to highlight some people I worked with in the past few weeks.
Joe from Big City Video in Mt. Joy, PA, super nice and very easy going. His technique is all about getting the emotion from every angle. When he films, it looks like you're seeing the event from your perspective.

Steph Miller, good guy. Fellow photographer who resides in my hometown, Brownstown, PA. Very open, enjoys sharing his knowledge of photography.

Peggy and Steve

Peggy and Steve got married three weekends ago. They are from the Pittsburgh area but got married in Mt. Joy at the beautiful Cameron Estates Inn. I was excited to photograph their wedding. I didn't really know them that well and never meet them in person. All I knew was they loved each other and they trusted me to photograph their wedding. I don't know what else to say but I love what I get to do for a living, preserve memories.

My Shoot

Sorry I didn't update like I promised. I got home really late last night from my own photo shoot. Right now I am building a new website so I needed some new photos of myself. I must admit that it felt weird to be in front of the camera after being behind it for so long. I got my photos taken by my good friend Jamie. She's very informal and fashion forward. I love how she shoots. I think when you choose your photographer, you have to really like them. Because they are giving you a little of themselves. Thank you Jamie again for the awesome session.
