X-3

My family and I went to watch X-men III this weekend. It was a sweet movie whether you love the x-men or hate them. The action was off the chain, and the story was great. I can't tell you what happens at the end of the movie, but all I can say is make sure you stay till all the credits are done. X-Men III the last stand, check it out.

Little Jaden

It's so nice to have family that loves you. My cousin Grant planned to have a birthday party for his son Jaden on a Saturday. Once he realized that I had a wedding the same day, he moved it to Sunday. The backyard b-day party was fun. Grant is the best chef I know, he is the man when he's got a spatula in his hand. His son Jaden might look innocent but once you get to know the kid, you know he is a hell raiser. He got lots of Power Ranger toys, but I hooked him up with a sweet RC car. Birthday parties are the best when you're a little kid, any gift is a great gift. The rest of the day went great, we had great food and played some Texas Hold'em. What else could you ask for from a kid's party? :)

Jaden's Show check it out.

weddings, weddings, and more weddings

This weekend I had two great weddings. The first wedding was on Friday night in Westminster, Maryland. Autumn and Zach are a young beautiful couple from Florida. They got married in a beautiful Catholic church. The wedding party was loads of fun, and the location they chose for their outdoor photos was great. There was a college campus nearby that had this cool arch, and it was great for photos. The reception party was off the hook, these people knew how to party. I didn't leave till 11 because I wanted to make sure I captured every fun moment they had to make it memorable for the couple. Click here to check out more photos of Autumn and Zach.

My saturday wedding was a little closer to home. Kelly and Adam had their wedding in a small but cozy church in Harrisburg, PA. They had the cutest little girl who was also their flower girl. The wedding party and their family were super nice, and they all made me feel like a member of the family. The food at the reception was so good, and they had lots of snacks and cookies. I love cookies. I would have to say that Kelly and Adam love to have fun, and you can tell by all the photos I took. Check it out.

Milkshake

While coming back from photographing a school today, I came across this tourist/ local market. They had all types of home made ice cream. I got their signature flavor, brown cow milkshake. It was good till the last drop. So if your ever in the Delta Peachbottom area of PA, look for the Brown Cow.

Camp Fun

While going to photograph campers, I had a flash back of when I was in 8th grade. Our class went to DC for 3 days, and we stayed at a camp. It was so fun to be away from home. We were free to run around with friends, and we felt like we knew everything. We stayed up late, sang stupid songs, and made fun of each other. I miss being a kid. As I line them up so they can look good in the photo, I notice how they are not even paying attention to me. I thought that I'm only in their lives for a split second, but I have created a memory they can keep forever. This is the reason I love my job even when I know they aren't listening to a word I say.

Birthday

There was another party to attend to today. My little cousin Kevin turned 1 today, and of course, I being the photographer in the family had to take all the photos. The party was fun, a lot of my uncle's friends from work came to the party and brought their kids. There were so many of them, I felt like I was at the circus. Check it out for yourself.

Ashley and Corky

Today was another perfect day for a wedding. The wedding I photographed was in Harrisburg, PA at the First Alliance Church. Ashley and Corky (Richard) are a couple who are around my age. I hope that I managed to capture the love they have for each other. They were a really nice couple. The bride's parents house was amazing. It looked really small from far away, but once I was there, it was really clean, elegant, and cozy. They had an awesome deck and the landscaping of the yard was really cool.

The food was excellent, and I really wanted seconds on the cake. I ran into a small problem during dinner. I did not have access to a power outlet at my assigned table during dinner to be able to put on a slide show together for the couple and their guests. It usually takes me around half an hour to forty minutes to put the slide show together, but without the power outlet, I had to run back and forth from my table to where the dee jay was at and it ended up taking me an hour and twenty minutes to put the show together. By the time I was done, I only had about an hour to show the wedding guests my slide show. Anyway, check it out.
