best assistant

Tonight Heidi and I went out and just had some fun photographing whatever. I sometimes just go out and walk around Lancaster to photograph stuff I see. Here is a fun shot I took of Heidi standing out in the middle of the street. She didnt get hit by the cars speeding through Prince Street, but she sure was scared. By the end of the shoot, we were both tired.

the Machine

My lap top crashed this weekend, and my life has been turned upside down. I have been trying to get it fixed since yesterday. Heidi was on the phone with Dell all day yesterday and today, and none of the 5 tech support reps has managed to fix it. In trying to find the problem, they came up with what I thought was the most horrifying idea that they could think of. They asked to return my lap top back to its original condition (new). I don't know the technical word for that, but it is basically the same thing as deleting all software I have added to my computer since I bought it. Here is where this story gets better (worst in my case), after doing that and getting off the phone with the tech guy, that message on the screen popped up (see picture above) :(

Heidi insists that I have a defective product since I have replaced the memory card four times within a year and a half, and I still keep having the same problem. In addition, I have paid the Dell after warranty tech support fee too many times, and no one has managed to fix it :(

It's crazy! My life is now on hold because my lap top is down. What's happening to our lives? Computers and cell phones, have you ever thought about how much they help us do our daily activities? It seems like they run our lives. I can hardly get my work done without my laptop. I have been using Heidi's old (slow), but reliable desktop. It's not the same. I miss my lap top :( She's a part of me. I can't help but feel so much sadness and desperation because I can't use it.

Thank You

A rose with another name is still a rose. People always ask me what I like about photography. To me, photography is a way I can express myself by using people and or objects to create a neat and pleasing photograph. In photography, there is no right or wrong, the only thing that matters is if you like the final product. My style is my final product. I am so lucky to have worked with many great bride and grooms who love my style. I feed off their love to create my style. I would like to say thank you to everyone who I have photographed so far in my career as a photographer. You guys made me who I am today.

the Best Cuts

It's always hard to find a great hair stylist. So when you do find one, make sure you stick with him/her. I found my stylist at City Looks in the Park City Mall. Jane has been giving me outstanding cuts for about 5 years. I keep going back to her because she makes me feel great in the 30 minutes that I am with her. This is the type of quality service I want to give my clients. I want people to hire me because they like the way I treat them. Remember anyone can pick up a pair of scissors.

Lisa and Chad

I had a blast at Lisa and Chad's wedding. Everyone was so much fun, and that made my job super easy. I managed to capture moments of people being themselves, and those are the images I truly enjoy. Lisa and Chad are so kind, they made sure that their guests were having a good time and felt comfortable. Check out some of my favorite shots from this amazing wedding.

Cooper's Inn

Here are some of my favorite shots from Lisa and Chad's rehearsal dinner. They held their dinner at Cooper's Inn. The bed and breakfast location is perfect for photographs. I would love to go back there and photograph again.

Shout Out

I told my buddy Greg that I would give him a shout out. I didn't have my camera on me so the photo was taken from my phone. And if anyone didn't read DJ's blog, he just got a new phone. I wonder if the new Blackberry takes pictures.

Tiger Woods Y'all

This weekend, Heidi and I tried pitch and putt. I had so much fun trying to hit the ball. Heidi was killing me, she's great at everything. I on the other hand, not so much. I did take some fun shots of the place, and of us making fools of ourselves. If you have never been golfing, try it out, it's so relaxing and fun for everyone.

Just the Good O'l Boys

All I can say about this photo is that I'm really glad Chris and Dave are my friends. Life really stinks when you don't have great people to chill with. (I didn't have my tripod on me so I put my camera on top of Heidi's car and took the picture. lol)

Random is Fun

Did your parents ever tell you not to talk to strangers? Well my grandma has but did I ever listen? no. If I did, I would never approach cool people on the street. I like meeting people especially at random times. Making new friends is the most fun part of my day to day duties. Just this weekend, I met some cool people around my town. Check them out, don't you think they have character?

Driver O

I'm always driving, I should just become a cabbie and just ditch photography. The funny thing is that eventhough I drive all the time, for some reason I'm really bad with directions :) Heidi is always getting mad at me cause I always manage to get us lost for hours. I think every car should come with a navigational system. That might help me not to get lost.
