'06 Halloween Parade

This year I got the chance to photograph in my hometown, Brownstown. Every year the Lions Club holds a halloween parade so I thought it would be a great idea to photograph all the kids in their cool costumes. I had a blast with all the families that showed up for this fun event. Here are a few photos from that night. Check 'em out.

I also want to thank my friend Cat and my two cousins; Sam and Nina. I would have not been able to run the show by myself. The only person that was missed from the crew was my lovely girlfriend Heidi. I love you girls for always being there for me.

Nights Sky

I always see those cool shots of the night sky in magazines. And of course, I always say "I can do that." Well after the wedding Saturday night, I stopped at a location that was really far away from the road, and distracting lights. I decided to get out of the car and try taking photos of the sky. One step away from the car, I heard some crazy noises coming from the woods. I hopped back in the car and locked the doors. Yep I know, I was kind of scared :) but I knew I did not want to leave until I got the shots. I opened the sunroof and photographed from there. Here are two of my favorite shots.

Free to have Fun

I get really excited when I get to work with brides and grooms who love my photography style. This past weekend I photographed an awesome wedding in Westminster, Maryland. The B+G felt so comfortable with me that they just had fun being themselves. The shots that I captured not only shows the love they have for each other, but demonstrates their fun personalities. Check out a few of my favorite shots.

Of course I can't forget to thank my new friends who made the day go really smooth for the bride and groom. Big props go to Abby Myers and Tammy Lundberg from NY NY Hair Salon and Day Spa. They did a great job with the bride's hair and make up. Big thanks to George from A Touch of Elegance. George patiently waited for me to take photos of the B+G without rushing me. Besides driving the crazy cool limo, he played a big role assisting me with the B+G. And last but not least, my friend Ed Smith from Party Zone Productions. Ed always keeps the party lively and makes my nights go really smooth. He plans the evening out so well that I don't ever have to worry about what will happend next. Thank you guys for making my day go really well.

Friday Night Lights

This past Friday, I got a chance to photograph a football game. I had a blast doing it even though I almost froze because it was so cold. While shooting, I met a great local sports photographer. Bill a photographer from the Harrisburg area, was shooting the game with his son Eric. It's always nice to have a companion photographer next to you to pass tips and tricks to make the photos look better. Here are some of my fun shots.

What a Day!

My day couldn't just end without getting a flat tire. Since I had to wait for AAA, I got out and started to take some photos. Can you tell that I was bored?

Class in Session

The day finally arrived! Today, I got a chance to speak to my high school's photography class. The teachers were new, the topic was photography, and for once I wasn't the student. I had a blast talking about my favorite subject. The students were super nice, and I was happy to find out that some of them were really into photography. They asked very good questions, and they kept me on my toes the entire time I was there. Mr. Hower and Mr. Thomas are two awesome photography teachers at Conestoga Valley. They were very hospitable, and I can't wait to go talk to their photography classes again next year.

I definitely learned more about myself after I spoke at CV today. Check out these photos.

Clean as a Whistle

I took my 5d in for major cleaning the other day. Wes, owner of Perfect Image, did a great job cleaning my baby. I had the camera back in my hands the very next day. That's great customer service. If any of you needs a great tech to work on any film and digital cameras , I got the guy for you. The number for his store is 717.397.3019

Long time No Blog

Yea I know I have been away for a while. I had tons of issues:the Internet, my lap top getting stolen by a DHL employee, etc. I want to thank you for waiting and being patient. Ok now i'm back to blogging. This weekend I photographed a great wedding in Maryland. The couple was so sweet and caring. They chose a great location to get married, check out the photos and see for yourself. At the wedding, I met Marty, a great videographer from Maryland. We had a great conversation during dinner. If you are looking for a videographer in the Maryland area, give Marty a call.
