Fly with Me

After the reception, Heidi and I drove home from NY to catch our 8 o'clock flight to Minnesota. Man, did we cut it close. The flight was fun, and I also met some cool people on the flight. Life is great when you get to share it with the one you love and friends.
O no, the plane is gonna hit us!..........

AAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

J/k. This is my new friend Paul and I. I don't know, I guess I'm goofy all the time.

Fine Dining

You know I never tried Indian food until this past weekend. Let me tell you that you're missing out if you never had some. Indian food is delicious, I give it two thumbs up. Rubina and Ricky picked a great place to hold their wedding reception. The Sitar is a great place to eat, and their staff is super nice and friendly. So if your ever in Huntington, NY, stop by and try some great food.

I luv NY

I think NY is going to become my second home. I met some cool people while photographing this past weekend's wedding. Rubina and Ricky made Heidi and I feel like we were part of their family. Their family opened their home to us, and I was very thankful because that allowed me to get some really great family moments. The bride and groom had a very traditional wedding in their home Friday and had a wild and crazy reception on Saturday. I will post a slide show soon but for now check out some photos.

I have so much stuff to share. I photographed a great wedding Saturday morning, and the long 4th of July weekend was a blast. Having so much time off makes me forget about posting all the cool stuff I did. Here are some photos of the bride and groom, and some nice people I met during the reception.

After work today, Heidi and I had diner at this new resturant we found in the clipper magazine. The food at the place was amazing but their service sucked. It took forever to order and get our food. I guess you have to wait for good food. Check it out.

Not an X-men

around 10 a kick butt storm started. of course my grandma had me go outside to take down the tent so it wouldn't blow away. After i covered all of our junk outside from getting soaked, i had an idea. Let's try to capture the storm. I sat out front of our house to get some cool shots of the storm.

2 wedding weekend

I dont think my weekends are ever boring anymore. I had two great weddings this weekend. Tara and Bob got married in Harrisburg and got the chance to get photos taken at the capitol building. The bridal party got to ride in a cool trolley everytime they went to their different destination. Tara and Bob went all out for their wedding, and it was great. Check out their photos.

Now Linsey and Lee's wedding was sweet and simple. The wedding was held in the pasture of Lee's family home. The set up was so nice and homey. I like it a lot. Check it out.

All in all, my weekend was sweet.

Spiderman 3

This friday heidi, her mom and I went to NYC to go shopping in Soho. Guess who we saw...they were filming Spiderman 3 in New York that day. I got some cool shots of Tobey Maguire acting. I didn't really get to meet him, but it was fun watching them film a movie live.

Mommy H

today heidi's mom came to visit. she'll be here for 4days. tomorrow we will be going to NYC, can't wait. we are going to try and hit the statue of liberty. i want to take some sweet photos from there. i want to get some awesome night photos too. its going to be great fun.

Dreaming

I just read DJ's blogg yesturday, he just got a new toy, The 5D. Wouldn't it be nice to get everything you wanted just by dreaming about it. What would you want? Me, the first two things that pop into my mind is my girlfriend and my business. I would dream up, a huge ring so I could put it on my girlfriend's finger and I would want an endless supply of clients who love my work and never get enough of it. Being a wedding photographer is loads of fun and its always different. I get my inspiration from the bride and groom. I feed off thier love for each other. The more they love one another the easier my job becomes. I have such a great job, I guess dreams do come true.

Night Owl

It seems to me that I do my best work at night. I can fall asleep anywhere and at any time but for some reason I don't get tired at night when I know I have photos to print. I think I work to much. It's so hard to fight my dream of becoming a great wedding photographer. My turn around time with photos I think is the best in the business. I will photograph your wedding on saturday and have your photos up and ready to view by sunday morning if you wanted me to. I am a work horse. I will do anything to keep my customers happy even if I have
to lose some sleep over it.

Hero

Today was such a lazy day. I didn't do much at the office like always. I toke a 2 hr break to go watch the world cup at my friends house. USA lost to the CZE. Came back to work to finish out the day. As I left to go home I went to go say hi to some photography friends. The weirdest thing happened. Another photographer asked me to give them some tips on how to take pictures the way I take pictures. I was kind of shocked and very happy. To think, I looked up to her when I started my career in photography. It was very nice to hear that she liked my style. I told her that I got to meet my hero, David Jay. He is the person that influenced me to be me. Who is your hero?

The location they choose for their reception was very fancy. The groom told me, he booked the location before he even asked her to marry him. Good thing she said yes. lol. Check it out.

My Heidi

I don't think I can find another girl who loves me and pushes me to become a better photographer than the person I am with now. Whenever I feel down about my work and not in the mood to photograph anything. She's always there to pick me up. Heidi your the best girlfriend a guy could ask for.

So long

I know it has been forever since I have updated my blog. I've been so busy with photographing graduations during the week and having to prepare for my weddings on the weekends, I ran out of steam. I always wanted to be busy with my photography. Wow, I guess part of my dream is coming true. I wish I could thank everyone who has supported me with this dream of photography. Thank you to everyone who recommend me to others and has gotten me work.
