What a day!
I think there is a meaning for everything that we do. Today, I had a fun time shopping at the Leesburg Outlet. I got these cool boots from the Puma store, they look like the boots Andre wore in the show America's Most Smartest Model, Soviet!. After shopping, we got some food at the Wharf Rat, where I met Santa at the bar. Out of coincidence, the bar was located on Lancaster Street and that made me want to go home and hit up some local bars. On our way to PA, I ended up with a flat tire and had to stop and call AAA. Heidi was like, "I am glad I sent in that check to renew your AAA membership." The man who came to pick us up was a really nice guy with a cute doggie riding shot gun. After tonight, I really think God has our schedule put together and all we have to do is follow the clues.

Wholesome Games
I had such a good time in PA this weekend. Dustin and Aviva had everyone over for their engagement party. The party went off without any glitches. My friends and I reminisced about the good ol' days. At one moment, I felt like we were back in high school. We also talked about all the great things ahead of us. The climax of the party was when everyone gathered around to play some wholesome games like apples to apples and beer pong. Check out this funny video of Dustin vs his dad.

Chicken Soup
Being sick is not so glamorous. My mind feels sick but my body thinks it can keep going. It kind of feels like seeing an Oasis in the desert. When you tell people you're sick, it is amusing to hear their most craziest remedy to cure your ailment. Right now my head feels like it's going to blow, but I'll live. I think the only good thing out of this illness is that Heidi is making her awesome chicken soup :)

Pam & Chris
One thing I love about weddings is all the cool people I get to meet. Pam and Chris have a huge entourage. Their friends are super chill and love to party. It's always fun to photograph people who know how to let loose and just be themselves. I don't know what my photography style is but I know I love to mingle with new people and capture their spirit. I love looking at photos I have taken, it really brings me back to that exact moment. Good or bad, photos will always make me feel good inside.

Polaroid
I love to entertain. This weekend my cousin Judy, her boyfriend Brian and their cute doggy, Brick, stopped by before flying back to Florida. Even though they didn't get to stay long, I had a blast with them. This morning I got up really early to go to the store to pick up eggs so Heidi and I could make breakfast for Judy and Brian. Well, I must confess that I didn't make breakfast, my lovely fiance Heidi made breakfast :) I guess that's what great hosts do.
I took photos of The Three Musketeers with an old Polaroid. I believe capturing the most intimate memories does not always require the latest equipment. I think its about thinking outside the box. I love photography. It comes natural to me. I love making people feel comfortable because when people let their guard down and stop worrying about being photographed, I can capture real love, real smiles, real memories. My photographs capture individuality even if I use an old Polaroid. Check it out!

Travel Buddy
So recently I have been signing up for lots of random sites and TravBuddy.com was one of them. I have to say that this is a really nice site to meet cool people from around the world. It really makes you leave your comfort zone of you hometown friends by talking to other people in other countries with the same hobbies and taste. We don't know what we are missing until we see others having fun. TravBuddy.com gets two thumbs up :)

Trailers are my inspiration
I love movie trail, I can't get enough. I do my best to make sure we get to the movies super early to catch all the cool trailers. I think my engagement sessions are like movie trailers. It gives you a preview of the couple before their wedding. I do my best to capture the true love between the boy and the girl. I also use this time to let the couple get to know me a little better and show them my style. So once the wedding day comes, they can be comfortable behind the camera because I have made them at ease during the engagement session. Enough about weddings, check out this trailer for an upcoming movies that I would like to see. I know they are all girly movies, but movies really inspire me.

More & More
I keep getting inspired by my beautiful fiancé. She's always pushing me to come up with something new for my clients. Like for next year, we are offering the new iPod touch proofing. Doesn't that sound sweet? Having your wedding images with you all the time! You can show your friends at the gym, super market, even at the beach. Imagine the possibilities :)

Thanxgiving
Who ever invented Thanksgiving is a genious. It has to be my favorit holiday out of all the holidays. I get to see everyone all over again. People you never think of running into, you get to see. I love my friends, they are the funniest people you can meet. We talk about the most random and stupidest topics. And my family has to be the oddest group of people on the planet, but I love them. They make any normal holiday hectic. No one ever waits for the whole family to show up, we just eat. And people just keep on coming over. What a turkey break. I love it, can't wait for next year.

Our Photos
Tonight we held a famiy photo night for our employees. This is the best time for me to meet everyone's family and try to get to know my co-workers better. I had fun with all the pets, kidos, and spouses. At the end of the night, Heidi and I got our photos taken. Kevin took some great pictures of Heidi and I. Check it out.

Heidi
So yesterday was Heidi's Birthday. We celebrated the big in Baltimore. We had dinner at Fogo de Chao. After dinner we drove to York, PA to our favorite hang out spot, Dunkin Donut. While we were there, I proposed to Heidi. And she said yes, well she said no, then yes. So you can say I'm a pretty happy guy :) Check out our little slideshow. I would have taken more photos but I was super nervous.

Maria & Rusty
I can still remember the day I meet Maria. It was at Tanya’s wedding, she came up to me and told me that I was going to photograph her wedding. I haven’t even met her before and she already wanted me to photograph her wedding. Wow, I knew I was going to be in for a treat. And was I right, Maria and Rusty's wedding was what I expected, perfect. Maria was ready on time, Rusty was the happiest groom I've ever seen. The whole day went off without any problems. Her family and friends are the best company to have around. They are supering nice and made me feel like family. I had an awesome time at the wedding. Check it out.

Dustin & Aviva
So I had an awesome time this weekend. I had a fabulous wedding on Saturday and photographed Dustin and Aviva's second engagement session on Sunday. This time around the two love birds were really relaxed. They couldn't keep their hands off each other. They are perfect for each other and I have the photos to prove it. Check it out.

Update
I have been super busy the last couple of weeks. I had some awesome weddings and even got the chance to attend a great seminar. Bruce Dorn and Maura Dutra had so much inforation to share. Bruce's lighting techinques were amazing and Maura made designing wedding albums look easy. I walked away thinking, what could I do to make next years weddings even better :)

Julia & Wayne
I enjoy photographing couples who have been together for a long time. It makes me feel like love can last a lifetime. I think this is why I do what I do. I love to capture those intimate moments when the bride and groom embrace each other and their love for one another is immediately visible in a photograph. Julia and Wayne were awesome. Julia got ready at her mother-in-law's house. I loved all the little details that Kay had in her home. I could tell that the day was going to be great once I stepped into her home. The rest of the day was amazing, everyone was ready on time and super photogenic. I could have not asked for a better bride and groom. Check out the photos :P

Michael & Zelda
Last weekend I had the chance to photograph a bride and groom that looked like royalty. There presence made everyone get up off their feet. Zelda's voice brought a tear to everyones eye, and Michael's dance moves brought the house down. I'm so lucky, I always get the chance to work with the most beautiful brides and the chillest grooms. Check out the photos :)
I also want to say whats up to my new friends, Leslie Hendricks and Ernest Martin Jr from Visual Effects Video. These to guys made sure to get every shot from every angle and even helped me out a few times. I think I learn something new everytime I photograph with talented people. Thanks guys.

Aviva & Dustin
Some weekends I get really busy with my photography and end up not having any time with my family or friends, but this weekend was different. I photographed a fun wedding on Saturday and on Sunday I had the privilege of photographing one of my best friends and his lovely fiance. I met up with Aviva and Dustin at their home and headed into historic downtown Lancaster. I photographed the two love birds until the sun set. Check out their photos :)

Kim & Kevin
What can I say about Kim and Kevin that can't be expressed with photos of their amazing day. It was an honor working with two wonderful, fun loving people. They made my Saturday a walk in the park. They had everything planned out and let me take the lead. They were the dream bride and groom. I hope all my future brides are as outgoing as Kim and all the grooms are as chill as Kevin. Check out the slideshow!
I also had the pleasure of working with two great videographers, Justin & Tavon Blackwell. They were two of the nicest guys in the industry. I could tell they got some great shots because of the cool angles they were filming from.
And big ups to the lovely makeup artist, Sherris. She really made sure Kim look her best the entire day.

All Work
So lately my life has been so boring. I have been busy in the office training and getting some new photographers hired. I am even running out of time for Heidi. I'm trying to catch up with all my work and blog at the same time. If anyone is waiting for some videos, I should have stuff up this weekend.

Paparazzi
Wow, I am so tired of hearing about celebrities getting in trouble with the law. I don't know how I get sucked into the media; I guess you can't really escape TV, radio or even Internet news. I couldn't imagine being followed by cameras all day. Well, maybe that would be pretty cool. Think about it, your photo album would be super amazing if all the photographers made a scrapbook from all their images. I think that's my style when I photograph a wedding. I try to capture everything I can. So when I'm ready to put an album together, I have enough photos to tell the whole story.

Family Fun
Today my grandma made her first visit to my apartment. Accompanying her were my cousins and aunt. It's always fun to hang out with family. After some small talk, Heidi and I took the family shopping at the Columbia Mall. My families are shopaholic, so I'm pretty sure they had fun. For dinner we hit our favorite place, Indian Delight. Check out some of the crazy faces that make my family.
