Class Reunion

I can't believe it has been 5 years since I have been out of Conestoga Valley High School. Wow I'm old! j/k. I wasn't sure what to expect from my class reunion. I knew I would run into people whom I didn't hang out much during my high school years at CV. My best friends: Benny, David, Duong, Mikey, Chad, and Dustin bailed on me so I dragged my girlfriend Heidi. It was nice to see so many familar faces. The coolest thing about this reunion was getting to see some of my classmates with their spouses and children. It was great seeing how mature and professional we have become. I think life has its ways of bringing you closer to people you think you don't have anything in common with. I am happy where life has taken me, and I am glad that everyone that I saw tonight has been succesful in everything they've done. I hope we can all keep in touch with each other as we get older because without friends life isn't worth living. I don't even know who won the game because I was too busy catching up with everyone. Check out the cool people I went to school with. If you think they look goofy now, you should see what they look like in our yearbook :)

O-Town

On my way home tonight, I noticed that I almost have a town named after me. I don't know how big the town is but if you have a town named after you, you must be doing something right. Maybe one of these days I might go and check it out.

Subject O

I had a photo shoot today, and it wasn't me taking the pictures. I needed to get some photos for my bio so I asked my new buddy Tri to help me out. I asked him because I knew he could get me in a serious mood. The way he works in the studio is amazing. He never stays still, and he uses so many lights to set the mood. Check it out, I snapped some photos while he was working.

I C the Light

Today, I had the pleasure to work with a group of photographers from the Maryland territory. Tri and his photo team were great senior photographers. Watching them work made me want to photograph more seniors. Tri is a master when it comes to painting with light. His skill shines when you watch him at work. I don't think I could keep up with this mad man in the studio. I am glad that I found a great person to learn the art of studio light. I hope our friendship will be as strong as our love for photography.

Goodies

Check out this new setup. You might think it's just a lap top and some cords plugged into a big power outlet. It's the new state of the art equipment that Lifetouch came out with. I can't wait to use it. Parents, tell your schools to call our office and demand that our bosses get all 32 photographers the best setup to make your kids look great.

Fairy Tale Wedding

When Tim and Melissa booked me, I was pumped to photograph their wedding. I had been anxious ever since I received an invitation to their wedding in the mail. The invitation alone looked like a million dollars. I knew right away that Tim and Melissa had invested a lot of time into choosing even the smallest details to make their wedding unforgettable. Once I saw the reception room, I realized that their wedding was planned to be like one in a fairy tale. It was amazing!! The love they have for each other allowed me to capture many moments that make beautiful art, and my job easier. Congratulations Tim and Melissa! Best of luck to both of you :)

Great Photographers

I know I hype DJ up a lot, but you know there are lots of great photographers in the East Coast too. I know this because I got to meet three fabulous photographers from the Jersey PuG. Laura, Joy, and Sofia are some of the nicest people I have met. They make my once a month trip to NJ educational and joyful. I bring back lots of new marketing ideas, and I get all pumped up for the weddings I have scheduled. All in all, the NJ PuG is great. Check it out, we meet the second Thursday of every month in Princeton, NJ.

DJ's many Faces

The many faces of David Jay!!. He's such a character. His personality always influences people to become a better person. His photography style has made me become a better shooter and a better thinker. Thanks DJ for everything.

Tour de DJ

David Jay came as a guest speaker at our NJ Pug. Having him around is always a blessing. He is such a great guy. Thanks for visiting DJ.

Ice Cream Anyone?

On our way home, we spoted DQ. Man, I love DQ ice cream. It's the best dang ice cream place in the world. Heidi found her new favorite...the small vanilla cone dipped in chocolate. I prefer the medium twist cone. We were forced to eat it quickly because it was melting really fast causing some brain freezes in the process. Don't you guys love brain freezes?

Beach Bums

I love booking weddings outside of PA, it gets me out and about. Today I ventured to North Wildwood, NJ to photograph an engagement. Tim and Melissa are a beautiful couple with an incredible sense of humor. They have great taste for clothing and locations. I can't wait to photograph their wedding, I am sure that it will be amazing. Good luck preparing Tim and Melissa!!!
