Photo Plus Expo

Today I was in NY for Photo Plus Expo. It was fun visiting with all the different vendors. What I enjoyed the most was meeting the people behind the phones. The cool folks that help answer all the wacky questions that I come up with. I even got to listen to Bill Eppridge speak about his career as a Time magazine photographer.

Brownstown Halloween Parade

Have you ever wanted to go back to your hometown and make a difference. The Brownstown Halloween Parade is mine. It's the event I look forward to ever year. As a kid I loved going to the parade, free candy, free hot dogs, and free Long John donuts. Now I'm older and cooler, I added free portraits. Something to help keep the Btown Parade in the hearts of all the little ones.

Jamie made Turkey

I have to say Jamie rocks. She cooked up an awesome Turkey dinner. Then we washed it down with some drinks at Three. Well you know I don't drink. But check out this video, the girls had this crazy strong drink. They are nuts :)

I don't know how I get so lucky. Meet Zach and Tina, two lovely kids who will be tying the knot in '09. I met them in May at a bridal show. After I met them, they just took my card and I thought I wasn't cool enough for them that day :)

This weekend I was in NY visiting my friends. I decided not to take my digital camera, instead I took my 35mm Pentax Honeywell. I don't know what it is about film but everything feels so alive. I feel invisible when I have the camera in my hands. I had so much fun snapping away. Here are some photos taken with the camera.
