Last Call
It's a great feeling when you call the bride to confirm and by the sound of her voice you can tell she's super excited for her big day. I really enjoy working with the brides and grooms who want you at their wedding, the ones who let you do your job. I am never at the wedding to steal the spot light; I am there to save the memories. I love my job.

Recap
I had a blast in Minnesota but I am glad to be home. People always want to go as far away from their home as possible. I guess we think the grass is greener on the other side. Sometimes it's true but that's not always the case. Being home in your own bed and cooking in your own kitchen is fun. But I did like coming back from meetings and seeing that the bed was already made, bonus:)
This week was awesome, I'm really stoked that I attended and that all the cool photographers that I meet where great people. I got a lot of ingenious ideas for next year and made some really outstanding friends. But getting to bring all that knowledge back to share with others is what made the trip well worth it.

David Humes
Yesterday I got the chance to hear a great masters speaker. David Hume Kennerly was such a cool guy. He talked about his life as a photojournalistic photographer. He spoke about how he started as a photographer and showed us a lot of his old work that has been published and showed us the images for his new book. What a photographer.

Travel Time
So after the wedding Heidi and I drove back to PA for Kevin little's b-day party. He's so big now, the big 2, time flies so fast. After fun and food with the family, we drove back home to get ready for my trip to Minnesota. I'm really bad at getting stuff ready on time. Didn't get to bed till 2 but that’s ok.

Getting up is the hardest part of your day, but once your up I guess its worth it. My new apartment is super close to the airport so we didn't have to leave that early.

My flight wasn't quick but I didn't have any layovers and that’s a plus. I love to fly because it's the best place to meet cool people, and talking kills a lot of down time. O yea I got a cab for the first time and it was pretty cool. Well cab van not yellow cab. It was a little expensive but when you don't have to wait for the shuttle it's well worth it.

The hotel that I'm staying at is pretty cool. I enjoy hotels because they always have kick butt breakfast. I hope I make it tomorrow.

Cheryl and Nathan
Yesturday I had a blast photographing Cheryl and Nathan's wedding. The two picked the best location for their wedding, a sweet outdoor by the water wedding. I can say they were super fun to work with and the rest of the bridal party was wild and crazy. Just how I like it.

Sweet 5D

So I got my camera back. I didn't think I was going to get it back from the shop in time for the wedding. I can say I was pulling my hair out just thinking, what camera am I going to use. I checked around for places that rent out equipment, man they charge an arm and a leg just to rent a camera for a few days. It's better to buy a new camera then rent from these people. Then I thought about barrowing cameras from friends but it turned out that everyone shoots with Nikons around here. There is nothing wrong with Nikons but I am a Canon guy.
Now I got my trusty camera back, life is back to normal or at least close to normal.
My Page
So today I decided to email my web site guy. I don’t know if anyone has checked out my page recently, if you have, you will notice that nothing new has been done. I feel like Chris has dropped the ball on my page. I have called him many times and left many messages. Heidi even ran into him at the bar and he told her that he was going to call me. I am not a mean person but this has gone to far.
